Tamar passed away on November 5, 2005. She never lost her faith, grace or beauty. The only thing that Tamar wanted was for her brother Michael to continue school no matter what happens to her, and she made him promise that he would. He keep his promise to his sister and graduated. Michael has a  Masters in education, and is how a N.Y.C. H.S. teacher. Like always she would be so proud of him.

"Who will walk for us?" meaning who fights for the people with blood cancers like me. Tamar was unable to walk in the Light The Night Walk, so we formed team Walk for Tamar and on October 5, 2005, we walked for Tamar in the Light The Night Walk to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. At South Street Seaport. The walk symbolizes what we and our family have been through, it symbolizes hope, courage and strength to find a cure so that others do not have to go through what we went through. Click here to donate online.

Tamar was going to Gilda's Club once a week, and was ask to be on Sex in the City in 2004. Tamar was one of the woman who took off their wigs at a dinner. Tamar (last on right) Kim Cattrall (Center)
